Wendy Morgan
My adventures in photojournalism started in Boise, Idaho. There I worked as Chief Photographer for the ABC affiliate shooting and editing local news. I know now how lucky I was to be able to travel the state and cover some of the most exceptional people and places that I will ever encounter in this lifetime. Whether delivering mail with a backcountry pilot or rafting the Snake River in the month of May, I will never forget the many adventures experienced in this unique part of the world. From Idaho I moved to Oregon. I worked as a news photographer/editor for KATU-TV for nine years. Here my travels took me out of the country where I documented a series on “Romanian Adoption”. My next move was to Oregon Public Broadcasting where I joined the National and International Documentary Unit.
While at Oregon Public Broadcasting I got the opportunity to travel, shoot and edit several award winning documentaries for PBS and OPB. Program Credits include "The Bay of Pigs" Cuba, "1968: The Year That Shaped a Generation", "America's Scenic Rail Journeys" (Canada, Mexico and the American Orient Express) and “The Three Rabbis”.
As a freelance editor, I’ve continued to work with OPB. Morgan Video Productions co-produced, shot and edited “Normal for Us: The Miller Twins” with OPB for a national airing on PBS.

Foreign travel has been a passion for me. Between jobs I was fortunate enough to sail around the world with the “Semester at Sea” Institute For Shipboard Education program, documenting their world travels. Two years later I packed up, once again, to backpack through Asia for four months. From rafting the Kali Gandaki River in Nepal to traveling Italy by Vespa, I share my travels with you.
